The Possession (2012) MOVIE REVIEW!

The Possession (2012)

Sam Raimi produced this chilling horror movie that may fright you up. It has a very unique true story, actually events are real and some are not. The opening scene from the movie is totally beating some exorcism movies like The Last Exorcism and Exorcismus which are not that scary.

The cast worked perfectly. I love the kid she's so natural in acting. There are many creepy scenes that will make you scream. It had a shocking ending. I always know that Raimi wouldn't disappoint me it started with The Evil Dead (1980)

The reason I watch this is because of the producer which is Sam Raimi (The Director of 'Spiderman' and 'The Evil Dead Trilogy') who is very fantastic. I say continue what is he doing...Next stop Evil Dead Next Year!

The score of the movie was pretty creepy if you listen. That's one of the things I got carried away because of the score.  If you seen the trailer then that won't do nothing, grab your tickets and start entering the cinemas cause this is one heck of a movie.

The storyline is very simple, just like every exorcism movies a young girl gets possessed by a demon. Yes we know that but, this movie changes the usual standards for me. Raimi does the treat for me.

For the storyline, characters, opening scene, and ending I would give it a 8/10 meaning it's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Sam Raimi Presents The Possession Hits Tomorrow!

FEAR THE DEMON THAT DOESN'T FEAR GOD!

The huge come-back to the horror master Sam Raimi! presents you The Possession! with demons instead of deadites. The infamous movie to come out tomorrow is still not sure if Raimi can still scare. I as a fan of his works will watch it tomorrow night.

The very curious thing about the movie is the cool looking posters! I mean can you believe it! The tagline fits the poster that says "DARKNESS LIVES INSIDE." with a grip of the hand to her face. I'm also curious about what's going to happened cause it's "Inspired By True Events" which is the first I believe the very first Sam Raimi True To Life Movie that he will produce. The very best thing about it is the poster it's so "DRAG ME TO HELL" Theme.

I'll be having a movie review soon...maybe tomorrow. For me as a huge fan of his work, I'll try to obey his themes. For the poster I will give it a 7/10. Check the trailer and the Poster I just uploaded!

The Evil Dead (2013) Remake Gets An Official Theatrical Release Date!

Yesterday saw Bruce Campbell drop a few hints as to what we can expect from the Evil Dead remake, and today it's producer Sam Raimi's turn to big up the film, describing it as "so bloody it will make your head spin".

"I’ve seen almost all the dailies and they’re really going for it," says Raimi, when asked about the gore content. "It’s gonna be grisly and intense and non-stop. Definitely R [rated]. Maybe worse."

So we know there will be a fair amount of viscera on show, but what else can fans of the original film expect from Fede Alvarez's remake?

"Well, I always thought that Evil Dead was a little campfire story that you tell at a camp to kids to scare them at night," says Raimi. "But, I don’t think anybody thought it was a beautifully produced, theatrical experience. It was shot in 16mm, all the effects were done for a quarter, and I always thought it could be done in a big screen movie type way that was really high quality with photographic effects."

"It could still be just as gritty, but it could be done in stereo and not just mono, and it could be done in 35mm versus 16mm. There were a lot of ways to improve it. There could be much better writing than I was capable of, at the time, as an 18-year-old kid writing that screenplay. And honestly, the directing could be a lot better, and the characterisations could be better. I was very happy with it, but it was something that was crudely done and I thought deserved re-exploration."

"I thought it would be fun and, in fact, it has turned out to be a tremendous amount of fun because it’s like an old melody that you write and you’ve brought in this really great, cool, young, hip jazz musician, and he’s riffing on it and showing you places it could go that you never dreamed. It’s very exciting for me."
Evil Dead opens on 12 April 2013.
